[Summer Seoul] Incheon International Airport

Because Korean Air has a one piece baggage policy for economy class passengers, what do you do if you are too lazy to lag a carry-on onboard?

Be like me! Alright, just go to the CJ counter and dump everything in a box, seal it up and check in. Including that few loose packet of Calbee honey butter potato chips. It was 10,000w well spent!

Then head over to Lotteria for some yummy fast food! It's affordable, and I loved the fried chicken and iced coffee.

If you still have some time to spare, there are several cultural centres for you to engage in some handicraft work and photo opportunities.

Otherwise, head over to level 2 to take a tour of their Korean museum!

The mesuem is near the Heineken bar.

This is a kinda pointless photo, but I was quite amazed by the image quality of the curved screen.

Near the gates, there are several kids' play area too!

And don't forget your last minute duty free shopping! So shiok.

[Summer Seoul] Bukchon Hanok Village

I'll probably do several posts on my recent trip to Seoul. It was mainly for 'business', but managed to squeeze in some sightseeing fortunately :)

Bukchon Hanok Village was ranked really low on my list of to-go places initially, but am really glad I managed to visit it on the last day of my trip. I've always thought that it will just be a boring #ootd kind of environment, but i was wrong! It was heritage rich, and covers a good walking trail that probably requires about 1-2 hours.

Interestingly, Bukchon Hanok Village has actual residents there, so just be mindful not to make too much noise while exploring the pretty place!

My first stop was the tourist centre, and the lady spoke good english. Recommended to drop by before starting your journey, to collect a map to plan your route.

I got to the area by alighting at the nearest subway station, Anguk Station. From the station, there are clear signs in English, to guide you to Bukchon Hanok Village. Way-finding was easy, so i'll just show you some pictures!

Definitely have to end off with a selfie at the photo-spot identified on the map!
